How I Work on Your Wedding Day

On your wedding day, I arrive at the location about 20–30 minutes earlier than the agreed time. This allows me to meet everyone, get familiar with the atmosphere, and naturally become part of the environment. When the photographer feels like «one of the guests, ” couples and their families relax much faster — and that’s when the most genuine moments happen.

I usually start with documentary-style photography, capturing the atmosphere of the preparations. I photograph the general moments of everyone getting ready, the work of the makeup artist and stylist, as well as important details and accessories that are meaningful not only for the couple but also for the other professionals involved in the wedding — florists, designers, and cake artists who often use these photos for their portfolios.

Then comes one of the most emotional parts of the day — the morning of the bride or groom with friends, bridesmaids, parents, and close family. I photograph the final preparations, dressing, and portraits of the couple in their complete wedding look.

I always recommend including a dedicated time for the wedding morning photos in your timeline. Personally, I love these images the most — the quiet emotions, anticipation, and intimate atmosphere at home. These are the photos that often become the beginning of your wedding album.

Next comes the first meeting of the couple.

During the civil ceremony, church wedding, or outdoor ceremony, I focus not only on the couple and the official moment itself but also on the emotions of parents, relatives, and guests. Years later, these emotional reactions often become the most meaningful memories when you look back through your wedding album.

After that, we may have a couple’s walk or portrait session. I never force artificial posing in front of random backgrounds. Instead, I look for beautiful natural light and help guide you into authentic, relaxed moments so that the photos feel genuine and full of emotion.

At the reception venue, I start by photographing the interior, decorations, photo zones, and all the carefully prepared details. Then I continue with documentary coverage of the celebration — your first dance, heartfelt speeches from parents and loved ones, games, dancing, and of course… the wedding cake!

Приїду за адресою зарання оговоренного часу на 20-30 хвилин, щоб познайомитись з усіма присутніми, стати «своїм» в компанії-після цього і молодята, і їхні родичі та друзі будуть більш розслаблені і готовими до зйомки. Почну з репортажної зйомки, пофотографую загальні підготовчі моменти всіх присутніх, роботу візажиста та стиліста, а також, деталі та аксесуари, які і молодятам важливі, і іншим підрядникам (флористам, дизайнерам, кондитерам) для їх портфоліо.
Потім вже відбудеться найцікавіше-зйомка ранку нареченої  або нареченого з їхніми друзями, подругами, мамами, батьками та іншими родичами. Вдягання та фотографування молодят окремо в готових образах. Раджу тобі обовязково спланувати в свій таймінг дня фотосесії ранку. Я особисто дуже люблю фото, які виходять саме при підготовці в домашніх умовах, і саме з них потім буде починатись твоя книга.
Далі фотографую зустріч наречених.
В РАЦСі, на вінчанні чи виїздній церимонії я закцентую увагу під час роботи не тільки на молодих та розпису, а й на емоціях батьків та гостей, які потім тобі буде важливо переглядати в книзі через роки.
Потім може бути прогулянка молодих, на якій я не буду змушувати вас штучно позувати на якомусь гарному фоні, а, в першу чергу, знайду красиве світло, виведу вас на справжні щирі, природні емоції і сфотографую.
Зйомку в ресторані я починаю з фотографування інтер’єру, декору, фотозон, деталей. А далі репортаж про ваше святкування на банкеті, перший танець, тости батьків та рідних, конкурси, танці, і, звичайно, торт!!!
